“The Songbook Chronicles is a concept project where I’ll publish a song every 4 to 6 weeks: after a series of 4 songs a thematic Ep will be released, including those 4 songs and some alternate versions. A total of 6 Eps will be released: this EP3 is dedicated to the second theme, Connecting.”

William James said “we are like islands in the sea, separated on the surface but connected in the deep”. This connections are what make us feel alive and when we feel separatedand alone it’s easy to fall into somekind of despair. These times are a perfect example of what real connections mean to us as we realize that the screen is not enough: Presence is essential to go beyond the illusion of separation and be really free.

Note: SirJo Cocchi and his trusted musicians recorded with the help of the most modern technologies, but basically the good old way: drums, bass and guitar in a room with SirJo on keyboards and vocals, playing all together with the feeling that only a live studio performance can create.

William James ha detto "siamo come isole nel mare, separate in superficie ma collegate nel profondo". Queste connessioni sono ciò che ci fa sentire vivi e quando ci sentiamo separati e soli è facile cadere in una sorta di disperazione. Questi tempi sono un perfetto esempio di ciò che le vere connessioni significano per noi quando ci rendiamo conto che lo schermo non basta: la presenza è essenziale per andare oltre l'illusione della separazione ed essere veramente liberi.

NB: SirJo Cocchi ed i suoi musicisti di fiducia hanno registrato con l'aiuto delle tecnologie più moderne, ma sostanzialmente alla vecchia maniera: batteria, basso e chitarra in una stanza con SirJo alle tastiere e voce in regia, suonando tutti insieme con il feeling che solo una performance dal vivo in studio può creare.
