Aluminum Soul is the fourth and last single from The Songbook Chronicles EP 3 - Connecting. It is dedicated to those precious moments of real life experiences that slip through our fingers while these are scrolling on a screen (Or a mouse).

I had seen a pic of that Banksy work on a door, where two lovers are hugging, both looking at the phone behind the other’s back. Then I was walking in NYC and saw another stencil that read “F..K your phone, keep your head up!”.
So I wrote about the relationship we have with that portable computer we always carry around and with artificial intelligence.

I decided to leave the whole improvisation in the middle of the song, first because I really liked it, second because it’s rather unusual nowadays to have that kind of musical moment in a single…and I missed that.

Aluminum Soul è il quarto e ultimo singolo di The Songbook Chronicles EP 3 - Connecting. È dedicato a quei momenti preziosi di esperienze di vita reale che scivolano tra le nostre dita mentre esse scorrono su uno schermo (o su un mouse).

Avevo visto una foto di quel lavoro di Banksy su una porta, dove due amanti si stanno abbracciando, entrambi guardando il telefono dietro la schiena dell'altro. Poi stavo camminando a New York e ho visto un altro stencil che diceva "F…..o il tuo telefono, tieni su la testa!”
Così ho scritto del rapporto che abbiamo con quel computer portatile che ci portiamo sempre dietro e con l’intelligenza artificiale.

Ho deciso di lasciare l'intera improvvisazione a metà della canzone, primo perché mi piaceva molto, secondo perché è piuttosto insolito al giorno d'oggi avere quel tipo di momento musicale in un singolo...e questo mi mancava.
