ENG: Could not ask for more features a sound that has synths and electroacoustic drums at the forefront: SirJo’s piano acts as glue and provides the Reggae-style upbeat, while distorted guitars inject some rock into the song’s atmosphere. The bare and lean arrangement and the few sonic elements are constructed to leave plenty of space for SirJo’s baritone voice to tell the story. The track was written (as the previous ones, Hold on and Love fever) in NYC: SirJo was in the Village waiting to go to the Red Lions to catch (and maybe jam with) his friend Jerry Dugger, when looking through the big window of Cafè Reggio gave him the inspiration for this song.

ITA: Could not ask for more ha un sound con synth e batteria elettroacustica in evidenza: il pianoforte di SirJo fa da collante e dà il levare in stile quasi Reggae, mentre le chitarre distorte portano un po’ di Rock nell’atmosfera della canzone. L’arrangiamento scarno ed i pochi elementi presenti sono costruiti affinchè la voce baritonale di SirJo abbia molto spazio per raccontare la storia. Il pezzo è stato scritto (come i due singoli precedenti, Hold on e Love fever) a New York City: SirJo era nel Village e stava aspettando di andare al Red Lions (vedi la foto nella copertina) a sentire (e magari jammare) con il suon amico Jerry Dugger, quando il guardare attraverso il finestrone del Cafè Reggio gli ispirò questo pezzo.
