NOW THAT I GOT YOU is the final chapter of The Songbook Chronicles EP2 – Loving. It’s a power ballad and from the opening backup vocals its stylistic influence can be easily recognized: Prince’s body of work had a great impact on SirJo’s music and that can clearly be heard here (think of “Diamond and pearls” as an example). This is a song that closes a circle, celebrating the magic of the encounter and with another special guest, Daniele Comoglio, that blows on the fire so that, as the song goes, “all the sparkles turn into flames”.

È una power ballad e dai cori di apertura la sua influenza stilistica può essere facilmente riconosciuta: il lavoro di Prince ha avuto un grande impatto sulla musica di SirJo e qui questo si sente chiaramente (si pensi a “Diamond and pearls” ad esempio). Questa è una canzone che chiude un cerchio, celebrando la magia dell'incontro e con un altro ospite d'eccezione, Daniele Comoglio, che soffia sul fuoco così che, come recita la canzone, “tutte le scintille si trasformano in fiamme”.
